Narutaki Mizu Asagi Lv 5
A perfect pre finisher and Finisher for razors in this super clean vintage narutaki.
HHT5 Smooth close comfortable shaves off of this razor hone. Beautiful iconic Narutaki milky white slurry is drawn up from the stone with light diamond nagura application of an atoma #1200. Perfect indicator of work being done, as it turns from snowy white (pic 3 and 4) to steely grey (pic 5), and finally blends in with the stone when loaded with filings from the blade. Stone is super pure, consistent and homogeneous. No undercuts, and all around perfect hone. Price will not stay as low as the starting price. Medium fast with diamond plate slurry. Very fine and consistent particles with great polishing and refinement, softer and gentler to blades than ozuku, Narutaki was a kilometer away from Nakayama mine, both are infamous mines in the Higashi Mono or "eastern mines". Narutaki was known for producing many high quality razor and scalpel hones.
can be used both with Atoma #1200 Diamond plate as a diamond Tomo Nagura as well as asano nagura.
