Nakayama Kiita Koppa Level 5+ ~Vintage Barber's hone
Lapped perfectly flat is this Nakayama Ocher Kiita colored koppa of tomae,. It is a vintage barber's hone for razors.
Great handheld hone size for razors and kamisori. Nice and wide size too, can fit this Dovo Col. Conk from side to side and still have width to spare, and the taper at the narrow end is great for rolling strokes on a smiling blade.
A flawless finisher for final polish but as with most every hard stones you must use with Diamond Nagura or Tomo Nagura to realize the full potential. A very good price and economical option if you would like to try a harder stone for polishing.

Please note: 11/13/2015- I believe this vintage toishi to be Nakayama from the honing feel and particle hardness and kawa, though there are similarities with Ozuku from Kawa and coloration of stone adjacent to kawa. Though the feel is similar to hard Nakayama Kiita and It is listed as Nakayama, without a certain type of ochre that you would expect to be only in the kawa of Nakayama present in the partial kawa (it's not) or a full thickness crust with large crystals to completely rule out ozuku it is hard to say with near 100% certainty that this particular barber's toishi is Nakayama. It is priced as an Ozuku with this honing quality and listed as Nakayama as that is what I most believe it to be. This does not matter to me personally, as when the hair is split like this (pun intended) it makes no difference to me. My apologies.
